A research team sent to investigate a distress signal sent from a top-secret oil rig makes a horrific discovery in this tale of maritime terror from genre specialist Jay Andrews. Upon arriving on the remote oil rig, Captain Jack Griffin (Billy Warlock) and Professor Anna Davis (Catherine Lough Haggquist) are perplexed to find no trace of life. As they venture ever deeper into the heart of the mysterious oil rig and crew members begin to disappear one by one, rumors of a mysterious creature said to lurk beneath the ocean floor appear to take on an element of reality.

Fire captain Jack Thomas (John Bradley) has his hands full when greedy developer Wendell Mays (Tom Arnold) arranges for his industrial refinery near the city to catch fire and explode for the insurance money. Not only are Thomas’ firemen overtaxed and his veteran hero (Michael Dudikoff) in grave danger, but the nearby hospital is inadequate to handle the disaster, leaving the head doctor (Amanda Pays) to cope with internal politics as well as internal medicine.

A long-dead monster gets a new lease on life as a Romanian village is under siege in this made-for-cable horror story. After a number of Americans have been disappearing under mysterious circumstances in Bucharest, a pair of U.S. intelligence agents are sent to Romania to investigate. It soon becomes clear they aren’t dealing with ordinary criminals — over 400 years before, a strange and bloodthirsty beast ravaging the town was captured and sealed in a crypt, and a recent earthquake has opened the tomb and brought the creature back to life. As the agents and the townspeople look for a way to vanquish the monster, they also become aware of a coven of vampires who are doing their evil business in town.
