In this entry in the long-running “Bowery Boys” series Sach sells his soul to the Devil so he can atone for spending a charity fund at the track. The bargain enables the young man to successfully predict winning horses at the track. Soon Sach finds himself pursued by greedy mobsters who want him to work with them. Sach demurs and then ends up riding a horse in the big race. Despite his efforts to force the steed to slow down and lose, it wins. Fortunately, the horse is disqualified because Sach was an illegal rider. This has the added benefit of proving the Devil wrong and nullifying their contract. To pay for his crimes, Sach must work in a diner.

A long-dead monster gets a new lease on life as a Romanian village is under siege in this made-for-cable horror story. After a number of Americans have been disappearing under mysterious circumstances in Bucharest, a pair of U.S. intelligence agents are sent to Romania to investigate. It soon becomes clear they aren’t dealing with ordinary criminals — over 400 years before, a strange and bloodthirsty beast ravaging the town was captured and sealed in a crypt, and a recent earthquake has opened the tomb and brought the creature back to life. As the agents and the townspeople look for a way to vanquish the monster, they also become aware of a coven of vampires who are doing their evil business in town. Martial arts star Don “The Dragon” Wilson stars in this action/suspense story. A child is recruited to take part in a secret government experiment which results in him being able to see into the future. Years later, the child is an adult and is working for the government; his latest assignment is to find the other people who were part of the same project. Before long, he discovers the other test subjects usually pop up murdered shortly before he can talk to them, and he realizes he may well be the next target. Horror film legend Barbara Steele highlights the supporting cast; cult figure Fred Olen Ray directed.
