In August of 1940 in the English village of Pepperinge Eye, three cockney orphans are sent to live with Eglantine Price (Angela Lansbury), who is studying to become an apprentice witch. When she receives a letter from the Correspondence College of Witchcraft in London, she and the children fly on a bed (by way of a magic bedknob) to London to meet the headmaster of the defunct school, Emelius Brown (David Tomlinson). At a townhouse where Mr. Brown is staying, Miss Price finds half of a book called THE SPELLS OF ASTOROTH. For the other half, they deal with a shady character known as the Bookman (Sam Jaffe).

Leading man Matt Dillon makes his directorial debut with the crime thriller City of Ghosts. Jimmy (Dillon) is a New York con man fleeing the U.S. for Bangkok in order to avoid an insurance scam investigation. He goes to Cambodia to meet up with his former business partner, Marvin (James Caan), to collect his half of the money. Along the way, he makes friends with local man, Sok (Sereyvuth Kem), and romances Sophie (Natascha McElhone). Also starring G?rard Depardieu and Stellan Skarsg?rd.

The family of Raymond, his wife Val and her brother Billy live in working-class London district. Also in their family is Val and Billy’s mother Janet and grandmother Kath. Billy is a drug addict and Raymond kicks him out of the house, making him live on his own. Raymond is generally a rough and even violent person, and that leads to problems in the life of the family.

George Armitage directs this big-screen adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s The Big Bounce. Jack Ryan (Owen Wilson) is an occasional thief who tends to a judge (Morgan Freeman). A woman involved with Ray Ritchie (Gary Sinese), a real estate developer of questionable ethics, seduces Jack. Ritchie and the judge are old enemies, complicating Jack’s moral dilemma when the girls asks Jack to help her double-cross Ritchie. The book was adapted once before with Ryan O’Neal in the Owen Wilson role.

After awakening in a locked and deserted mansion, nine complete strangers are forced into a deadly game of survival in director Steven R. Monroe’s tense tale of dread and deception. Upon learning that the last person standing will be permitted to leave the residence with $5 million, the paranoid prisoners struggle for survival as the evening’s events quickly turn deadly and the body count steadily begins to rise. Dennis Hopper, Kelly Brook, and Peter Capaldi star.

The movie combines a diverting story, songs, color and sequences of live action blended with the movements of animated figures. Mary Poppins is a kind of Super-nanny who flies in with her umbrella in response to the request of the Banks children and proceeds to put things right with the aid of her rather extraordinary magical powers before flying off again.

If you think Scarface in Spain but with cockneys you’re half way there! From the beginning its clear that this is a first rate British film. If your not hooked from the frantic opening then the 80s music will definitely get your attention! The film tells the story of Frankie, a Londoner with no prospects. After he kills his mothers abusive boyfriend he flees to Spain to lie low and so begins his new life. There he is taken in by Charlie, a club owner and local gangster. Frankies now living the high life, but with power comes greed and danger, and you could so easily lose it all…

In this made-for-TV actioner, a stray bullet forced a secret service agent into a wheelchair and early retirement. Much of the story centers on his attempts to adjust to his new life. The rest chronicles his revenge against the gangster that destroyed his life.
